Slightly stylized for public viewing, this DVD demonstration is an example of how to present the ancient Samoan Taualuga Ceremony for contemporary stage. Steeped in history and deep meaning, this unique, indigenous dance is typically performed by the virgin daughter of one of the Village Chiefs or High-Talking Chiefs.
