
The CULTURAL ARTS FESTIVAL held January 30, 2010 has now come and gone and we want to thank all of you for coming!!! What a line-up of the best-of-the-best unique and gifted entertainers and artists!!!

For those of you who unfortunately missed it, we had a host of exciting and informative performing artists -- musicians, dancers, actors, singers, and more -- presenting a wide variety of fabulous talents including Pointe Ballet by Art of the Dance members, Tap by Rachael Stewart, a Monologue by Actor Zaid Farid, Hip-Hop and Break Dancing by Lauren LiBrandi, Square Dance demo by Cowboy Ron Black, Argentine Tango by Phyllis Sues and Felix Chavez, Tahitian Ote'a by the Mahana Polynesian Troupe, Hawaiian by Malia and Vikilani, Central Asian (Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkestan) by Carolyn Krueger's Gulistan Dance Theater, Cajun and Greek dance by Jim Hull, Spanish Flamenco by Batista, Caribbean Soca by Katalina Stephanapolis, Egyptian Belly Dance by Alekseea, Guitar solo by Ryan Remington, Broadway songs by Donn Angelos, Geisha Girl stilt-walker Rebecca "Fireplug" Nelson, and the live music of Mondo Celaya's fabulous Soul Provider band!
Local fine artists also exhibited their works, such as award winning photography by Joanne Chase-Matillo, mixed arts and crafts by the gifted Ruya Jackson, crafts of Holly Ogawa, and other special exhibitors.
It was truly an afternoon of fun, education, excitement and entertainment!!!
