Acting classes for teens, adults, and seniors!!!
Who better to learn from than a professional working actor??!! While a complete list of Michael's credentials would be far too lengthy to post here, he has starred, guest-starred, or co-starred in such TV hits as Criminal Minds, Cougar Town, CSI, ER, Nash Bridges, Miami Vice, Roseanne, Life Goes On, The West Wing, Monk, and most recently Weeds (to be seen in September). He has also starred in the films Tennessee Nights with Julian Sands, Ned Beatty, and Stacy Dash, and played Goldtooth in San Raimi's Army of Darkness. Michael played the lead or supporting lead in such other films as Hellborn, The Tie That Binds, Ballistic, Last Exit to Brooklyn, and Bloodhounds of Broadway, to name a few.
But it doesn't stop there! His theater credits include several plays Off Broadway in New York, and roles in The Well of the Saints, Hamlet, Of Mice and Men, The Man Who Came to Dinner, and a host of others.
He has studied with Herbert Berghof, Carol Rosenfeld, Jose Ferrar, Mira Rostova, and George Morrison, and brings over 35 years of experience to his tried-and-true teaching methods.
Michael's beginner acting classes are designed for those wanting to get started in the world of stage, motion pictures, TV, and commercials. His classes focus on relaxation exercises, sense memory, improvisation, and starting from scratch on a script.
Students will learn monologues, scenes, technique, how to audition, how to develop a character, and how best to get to the next level.
Group classes are held on Saturdays from 2 to 4 pm at Dance Fantasy Cultural Arts Center, in the Agency Acting Lounge. Monthly rate (for 8 to 10 hours): $140 per month. Pre-registration is required.
Special FREE AUDIT of one class starts October 16 and continues for one month. Call first to be sure there is room for you, then come on in and participate in the lesson!!!! See you there!!!
