Learn from the Tabla King

Dubbed by fellow Syrian musicians as the “Wassan Pharaoun” (Pharoah of Rhythm), Issam teaches his world-renowned tabla (doumbeck) playing at the studio when he is not touring the world with the Bellydance Superstars!!! While his skills are truly unmatched, this master percussionist sincerely enjoys tutoring beginners to the most advanced of students in his amazing techniques.

Issam's credentials not only include his 10+ years of touring with Bellydance Superstars, but he's the solo drummer for singers and dancers such as Cheb Mami, Ragheb Alama, Samara, Haweda Al Hashem, and the featured drummer for Sting on the "Desert Rose" tour.

His Japan tour is finished and Issam is now available until further notice. He prefers small classes and is available to teach on the days/hours of your preference. Fee: $100 for up to 4 students at a time. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from a true master.
