Fire Walk Stylized for Stage

If you'd like to add more excitement, awe, and primitive, earthy qualities to your luau programs, this DVD demonstrates two versions of how to stylize the ancient Fiji fire walking ceremony for contemporary stage.

Rather than dancing along long paths of fiery hot stones on the beaches of Fiji, these idea clips (shot during our own luaus) illustrate much shorter, less frightening solo examples of the ritual to spark your imagination and give you valuable insight into how to create your very own version of the fire walk.

No shortcuts, tricks, or magical illusions here! This is real fire that requires real skill and extreme caution. Recommended for professional MALE dancers only (or fearless females).
