German Folk Dances for Beginners

This booklet gives you a brief history of the beautiful country of Germany and their traditional dances from the dim past to the present. The emphasis is on female routines which can be easily adapted for male dance partners.

Once you learn the basic step patterns of the waltz, landler (the root of modern waltz), polka, peasant dances, and a couple of popular beer-drinking songs, you can feel right at home at any Oktoberfest celebration. Also includes an overview of traditional costumes.
