Product Description
This booklet starts with a brief history of Mexico, then clearly describes over a dozen intermediate-level dance steps that are traditional to many choreographies.
The focus is on common steps, staging, and floor rotations for female dancers and includes two written dance routines. The first, "La Botella", choreographed for 4 females, is typically a quick dance to learn. The second is a simplified routine for the more complicated but ever-popular "El Son de la Negra", choreographed for two females, and includes directions on how to create the traditional voluminous skirt worn for this dance.
Both the La Negra music and DVD demonstration of the dance are available on this site.
