Tahitian Dances for Career Performers

High-energy, unique, repertory routines for experienced luau dancers only. A great foundation in Tahitian dance styling is necessary in that each routine represents a specific study in either technique, formation, mood, or the merger of cross-cultural styling.

Written choreographies for the songs Francais Danielle (a fusion of Tahitian ote'a and the French Cancan), Inu (a study in arm gestures and strict timing), Tamure Rumba (a wedding of Cuban and Tahitian tempos), Tiki (focuses on mood transition from somber to high-spirited), and Tamure Sheila (the story of how a beautiful young girl wiles away the hours on the paradise island of Tahiti). Costume suggestions for each choreography.
