Introduction to Tongan Dance

An overview of the Kingdom of Tonga, traditional performance costumes and musical implements, and a popular, fun-to-perform beginner to intermediate female dance routine utilizing split coconuts.

The choreography directions work with at least two songs -- "Ko E Hiva Tau" or "Coconutz", and a companion music CD containing both of them is available on this site.
