Learn to Play 'Uli'uli and 'Ili'ili

This booklet contains easy-to-follow instructions on the basics of playing two of Hawaii's favorite music makers, the 'uli'uli (also called feather gourds or war gourds) and 'ili'ili (lava rocks or pebbles).

Introductory rhythms and percussion exercises to practice, suggested gestures and starter actions to incorporate into your hula routines, how to craft your own 'uli'uli, and an overview of other popular Hawaiian instruments/implements.
