Product Description
This booklet starts with a brief culture lesson on the country of Tunisia, the rights (or lack thereof) of indigenous females, and background information on one of the best-known dances traditionally performed by women, the Water Jug Dance.
Explanations of basic steps, hip twists, styling, and jug balancing lead up to a step-by-step 3-part starter choreography created for four females, plus costume overview and directions on how to craft your own jug.
The companion music CD for the written dance directions is also available on this site, as well as various types of jugs.
